29 CFR  1903.19(c)(1):The employer did not certify to OSHA, within 10 calendar days after the abatement date, that the cited violation had been abated:  (a) JJ Stone Exteriors Inc. failed to certify abatement within 10 calendar days after the abatement date that each of the following cited violations had been corrected:  Citation 1, Item 1 a serious violation of 29 CFR  1926.20(b)(2)  with an abatement date of August 2, 2023.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATIONS OF THE CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR  1926.20(b)(2):The employers programs did not provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers.  (a) On or about May 26, 2023, at N117W7190 Oakmont Drive Cedarburg, Wisconsin,  frequent and regular job site inspections were not conducted to identify and correct safety hazards, including but not limited to fall hazards.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.   (a) On or about May 26, 2023, an employee conducting roofing work on an existing residential roof with a 6:12 pitch, was not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed an employee to a fall hazard of approximately 24 feet on the back side of the house.  JJ Stone Exteriors Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1610563, citation number 1, item number1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/13/2022, with respect to a workplace located at W72 N1150 Augusta Lane Cedarburg, WI 53012.  JJ Stone Exteriors Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1626847, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/3/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 132 E. Luther Ave. Oconomowoc, WI 53066.
