29 CFR  1910.178(q)(1):Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition shall be removed from service. All repairs shall be made by authorized personnel.  a) At the Maersk Warehousing and Distribution Services USA, LLC's location on the premises of 4470 Savannah Hwy Gate 3, Brunswick GA 31545: On or about May 31, 2023 the employer exposed employees to safety hazards in that jockey truck S1241 has a cracked driver's side head lamp, but was not taken out of service when the deficiency was reported to management.  b) At the Maersk Warehousing and Distribution Services USA, LLC's location on the premises of 4470 Savannah Hwy Gate 3, Brunswick GA 31545: On or about May 31, 2023 the employer exposed employees to safety hazards in that jockey truck PS15032's right sided window and trim is kept from staying open by electrical tape, but was not taken out of service when the deficiency was reported to management.  c) At the Maersk Warehousing and Distribution Services USA, LLC's location on the premises of 4470 Savannah Hwy Gate 3, Brunswick GA 31545: On or about May 31, 2023 the employer exposed employees to safety hazards in that jockey truck S1222's driver window handle had been replaced by a hand wrench, but was not taken out of service when the deficiency was reported to management.  d) At the Maersk Warehousing and Distribution Services USA, LLC's location on the premises of 4470 Savannah Hwy Gate 3, Brunswick GA 31545: On or about May 31, 2023 the employer exposed employees to safety hazards in that YD003054's right rear inner tire is bald, there is a missing glass on the bottom right side of the driver door, and there are safety straps holding the right side fuel tank in place, but was not taken out of service when the deficiency was reported to management.  e) At the Maersk Warehousing and Distribution Services USA, LLC's location on the premises of 4470 Savannah Hwy Gate 3, Brunswick GA 31545: On or about May 31, 2023 the employer exposed employees to safety hazards in that jockey truck YP515019's right signal light is held in place with a black zip tie strap and there is a missing cap on a fluid container on the right side of the jockey truck, but  the jockey truck was not taken out of service when the deficiency was reported to management.  f) At the Maersk Warehousing and Distribution Services USA, LLC's location on the premises of 4470 Savannah Hwy Gate 3, Brunswick GA 31545: On or about May 31, 2023 the employer exposed employees to safety hazards in that jockey truck 52 has no horn nor warning system, but was not taken out of service when the deficiency was reported to management.  g) At the Maersk Warehousing and Distribution Services USA, LLC's location on the premises of 4470 Savannah Hwy Gate 3, Brunswick GA 31545: On or about May 31, 2023 the employer exposed employees to safety hazards in that jockey truck YPS15020's driver side rearview mirror is held in place by black tape, and the driver's side tire is bald, but was not taken out of service when the deficiency was reported to management.
