29 CFR 1926.502(d)(6)(i): A snaphook not of the locking type was engaged directly to webbing, rope or wire rope such that unintentional disengagement could occur by the connected object being able to depress the snaphook keeper and release itself. (a) Roof: On or about 5/25/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 24 feet, in that the metal snap hook was wrapped around framing and attached back to the vertical lifeline while employees were performing framing activities.
