29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about: March 31st, 2023 Location: 50 Main St, White Plains, NY 10606 a)Employees were exposed to a 9 ft and 4 inches fall to the ground installing metal components of a metal canopy in a garage parking lot. Employees did not install personal fall arrest system and any alternative to fall protection was absent.
