29 CFR 1910.242(a): Each employer shall be responsible for the safe condition of tools and equipment used by employees, including tools and equipment which may be furnished by employees: On or about May 7, 2023, the employer did not ensure that the Porter Cable 743 Circular Saw was in a safe condition, in that the electrical power cord was damaged. The cord had been repaired with electrical tape in multiple areas, exposing employees to electrical hazards.
