29 CFR 1910.243(c)(3): Abrasive wheels used on vertical portable grinder(s) (right angle head grinders) were not provided with safety guard(s) having a maximum exposure angle of 180 degrees and located between the operator and wheel: Service Center Maintenance Area, 97 Turnpike Road, Westborough, MA: On June 7, 2023, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that the abrasive cutting wheel utilized on the Metabo W 850-125 portable angle grinder was provided with a safety guard that had a maximum exposure angle of 180 degrees and located between the operator and the wheel.
