29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about June 7, 2023, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 26 feet while performing framing activities on a residential home located on Lot 50 Chaseline Ridge, Brunswick, Ohio 44212. The employees were working on the roof of the home and the employer did not ensure they were using fall protection. LB Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1500577 citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on (1/21/21), with respect to a workplace located at 36539 Amalifa Road, Lorain, Ohio 44039.
