29 CFR 1910.1096 (d)(1): The employer did not make such surveys as necessary to evaluate the radiation hazards incident to the production, use, release, disposal or presence of radioactive materials or other sources of radiation under a specific set of conditions: (a) Elite Dental, located at 1575 N. 52nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19131: On or about June 8, 2023, the employer did not evaluate the radiation hazards prior to the production, use, release, disposal, or presence of radioactive materials or other sources of radiation under a specific set of conditions. When appropriate, such evaluation includes a physical survey of the location of materials and equipment, and measurements of levels of radiation or concentrations of radioactive material present. The employer did not perform initial monitoring for radiation exposure prior to employees working with x-ray machines.
