29 CFR 1926.252(a): An enclosed chute of wood, or equivalent material, was not used where materials were dropped more than 20 feet to points lying outside the exterior walls of the building(s): a) 810 E Basin Rd, Schoolside Apartments, New Castle, DE: On or about June 8, 2023, CSHO observed roofing workers on the ground below materials were dropped without an enclosed chute to safely drop waste roofing material from heights in excess of 20 feet. This exposed employees to struck-by hazards while walking and working on the ground where materials were dropped.
