29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or about June 12, 2023, employees performing roofing work on the main house were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12.8 feet. b) On or about June 12, 2023, employees performing roofing work on the detached garage were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 7.25 feet. Mora and Sons LLC was previously cited as Juan Mora Dba Mora And Sons Llc for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926. 501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1544278, citation number 1, item number 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on November 8, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 2509 Astor Ct., Glenview, IL 60025. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
