1926.503(a)(1) The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. On or about May 30, 2023, an employee was in the process of installing a dumbwaiter with a maximum weight capacity of 200 pounds, and the employee stood on top of the dumbwaiter inside the hoist way and employee fell greater than 6 feet to the basement below with the dumbwaiter.
