29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: Extension cords were used as a substitute for fixed wiring, in the following instances: a) North Wall, Carpet Area - The brown Intertek extension cord was supplying power to a recliner. b) North Wall, Carpet Area - The dark brown Intertek extension cord was supplying power to three recliners and two brown Intertek extension cords. c) Down-in-One, Entertainment Center Area - The Intertek extension cord was plugged into the Surge Strip Transient Voltage Surge Suppressor. d) Down-in-One, North Wall Office - The white extension cord was supplying power to a recliner. e) Front with Sofas - Electric sofas were plugged into an orange three-tap extension cord, which had a Kensington power strip and electric-motorized sofas plugged into it. f) Recliner Land - The brown Intertek extension cords were connected from the outlet to the RPTs that were daisy chained from the wall to throughout the entire middle section of the floor.
