29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a - 37 Museum Drive, Eastampton NJ: While attempting to prepare the exterior surface of sheathing for siding installation and other related activities, a company worker was exposed to fall hazards, of approximately 10 feet 4 inches to the ground below, when they were walking and working from a residential structure's pitched roof while wearing a full body harness that was not connected to an anchor with a lanyard. Condition noted on or about 06/15/23. Stars Vinyl Siding was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1539994, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/06/22, with respect to a workplace located at 15 Coliseum Drive, Eastampton NJ. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
