29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): At the temporary construction site located at 13511 W 176th Terr. Olathe, KS, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards. Employees were exposed to fall hazards of 11 feet 2 inches from the working surface to the ground in that fall protection was not utilized. Ramos Framing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1560497, citation number 1, item number 2-b and was affirmed as a final order on 12-16-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 12401 W. 169th St. Lot 88 Overland Park, KS 66221. 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: At the temporary construction site located at 13511 W 176th Terr. Olathe, KS, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of 11 feet 2 inches from the working surface to the ground. Employees were using an extension ladder to access the upper working area which did not extend 3 feet beyond the upper working surface nor was secured to the structure. Ramos Framing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1541606, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 08-13-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 17340 W 175th Street Overland Park, KS 66221.
