29 CFR  1926.451(g)(1):Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level shall be protected from falling to that lower level. Paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (vii) of this section establish the types of fall protection to be provided to the employees on each type of scaffold. Paragraph (g)(2) of this section addresses fall protection for scaffold erectors and dismantlers.  On or about  June 20, 2023 employees were not protected from falls while performing residential framing and trim work at a height in excess of 15 feet.  The employees were in a job built basket that was lifted by a Lull Model 1044C-54 telescoping lift.  The employees were not utilizing any fall protection devices.    Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR  1926.451(c)(2)(iv):Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment shall not be used to support scaffold platforms unless they have been specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use.  On or about June 20, 2023 employees working from a job made platform were elevated in excess of 10 feet in the air by a Lull Model 1044C-540 Telescopic lift to perform residential framing activities. The JCB 524050 Telescopic lift was not designed to be used as a personnel lift unless it is a manufacture approved personnel work platform.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CRF 1903.19(d).
