29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1): When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative or engineering controls were not utilized: On or about June 22, 2023, an employee processing lumber with the flick machine band saw was exposed to noise at 138% of the permissible daily dose, or an average sound level of 95.2 dB [LAVG - Measured on 90 dBA Threshold], as measured over 5 hours and 20 minutes of monitoring. This dose is equivalent to an 8-hour TWA exposure of 92.5 dB [LAVG - Measured on 90 dBA Threshold] accounting for the period of 2 hours and 40 minutes unmonitored.
