29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system; a) Building 1: On June 5, 2023, and times prior, the controlling employer Steed Construction did not ensure the framing sub-contractor protected its employees from fall hazards while performing framing activities on the second-floor deck of building 1. An incomplete guardrail system exposed employees to an 11-foot fall hazard to the ground below.
