29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative: a) On or about 06/27/2023, throughout the establishment; an energy control program was not established that consists of specific energy control procedures, authorized employee training and periodic inspections to ensure employees perform energy control procedures before servicing or doing maintenance such as, but not limited to, changing dies/making repairs on mechanical power presses #2 Johnson 100 ton, #3 Niagara 90 ton, and #5 Minster 22 ton, and press brakes #16 Durma, and changing blade on #22 bandsaw. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
