29 CFR 1928.57(c)(2)(i): The mesh or nip-points of all power driven gears, belts, chains, sheaves, pulleys, sprockets, and idlers shall be guarded. Jobsite located at 325 South Jennersville Road, West Grove, PA. - An employee was exposed to caught-in-between and crushing hazards while operating and/or working in close proximity to the Christiaens Production b.v. head-end filling machine in that the chain & sprocket assemblies were not enclosed or adequately guarded. a) On the side of the conveyor drive pulley. b) The assembly covered by a green rectangular sheet of flexible material located on the side of the machine where the operational levers are located.
