29 CFR  1926.1153(c)(1):Specified exposure control methods. For each employee engaged in a task identified on Table 1, the employer shall fully and properly implement the engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection specified for the task on Table 1, unless the employer assesses and limits the exposure of the employee to respirable crystalline silica in accordance with paragraph (d) of this section.  At a job site located at 1319 Larson Ave, Warrensburg, MO; employees were exposed to a large dust cloud presenting hazards of respirable crystalline silica.  Employees were exposed to airborne hazards of respirable crystalline silica when using a handheld power saw to cut stone for under four hours, outdoors, without an integrated water delivery system or dust collection system.

29 CFR  1926.1153(d)(2)(ii): The employer did not assess the 8-hour TWA exposure for each employee on the basis of any combination of air monitoring data or objective data sufficient to accurately characterize employee exposures to respirable crystalline silica:  At a job site located at 1319 Larson Ave, Warrensburg, MO; employees were exposed to a large dust cloud presenting hazards of respirable crystalline silica. Employees were exposed to airborne hazards of respirable crystalline silica when using a handheld power saw to cut stone for under four hours, outdoors, without an integrated water delivery system or dust collection system.  The employer did not assess the 8-hour TWA exposure for each employee on the basis of any combination of air monitoring data or objective data sufficient to accurately characterize employee exposures.

29 CFR  1926.303(b)(1):Grinding machines shall be equipped with safety guards in conformance with the requirements of American National Standards Institute, B7.1-1970, Safety Code for the Use, Care and Protection of Abrasive Wheels, and paragraph (d) of this section.  At a job site located at 1319 Larson Ave, Warrensburg, MO; employees were exposed to amputation hazards.  Employees were using a Dewalt handheld grinder with a 7-inch blade without the use of a safety guard.
