29 CFR 1926.451(b)(5)(ii): The end of a platform greater than 10 feet in length extended over its support more than 18 inches and the platform was not designed and installed so that the cantilevered portion of the platform is able to support employees without tipping, or has guardrails which block employee access to the cantilevered end: a) 1600 Book Rd Lancaster, PA 17602 - Employees were observed working from a ProSeries mast climbing work platform and the end of the platform extended approximately 40 inches past its support and was not restrained to prevent tipping or equipped with guardrails to block employee access to the cantilevered ends, on or about June 28, 2023. Abatement certification required within 15 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms before being released for use by employees other than erection/dismantling crews: a) 1600 Book Rd Lancaster, PA 17602 - Employees were exposed to an approximate 11-foot 6-inch fall hazard while working from a ProSeries mast climbing work platform that was not equipped with an endrail, on or about June 28, 2023. Abatement certification required within 15 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
