29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about June 22, 2023: Employees engaged in welding activities at AMPROD LLC located at 597 Evergreen Road Strafford, Missouri 65757, were exposed to pinch point hazards in that the employer did not ensure employees were protected from unguarded point of operation while operating a resistance welding machine to produce/manufacture parts for outdoor cabinets used in the telecom industry.
