29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a) First Story of Building - On or about July 6, 2023, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 10 feet while working without fall protection from pitched roof surfaces. b) Second Story of Building - On or about July 6, 2023, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 16 feet while working without fall protection from pitched roof surfaces. Salvador Reyes dba Salvador Reyes was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1602052, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 30, 2022, with respect to a worksite located at 932 S. Bruner Street, Hinsdale, Illinois. No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
