29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, and flying chips. WORKSHOP/WAREHOUSE: On/or about July 11, 2023, the employer did not guard the rotating end nuts on the Baldor buffing wheels exposing the employee to the hazard of cuts, abrasions, and lacerations.

29 CFR 1910.215(a)(2)(i): Safety guards on all operations where the work provides a suitable measure of protection to the operator, were not so constructed that the spindle end, nut, and outer flange were not exposed: WORKSHOP/MILL DEPARTMENT: On/or about July 11, 2023, the flange and spindle end of the TDS surface grinder was unguarded exposing the employees to the hazard of cuts and lacerations.
