29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(22): Employees  using ladders were carrying objects or loads that could cause the employee to lose balance and fall:  a) On July 6, 2023, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 9 feet when climbing a portable ladder carrying material and tools to the roof.   No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:   a) On July 6, 2023, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing work on a one story of a residential home were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet.  No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.  Ardon Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1609176, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 3, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 4207 N Tigerlily Drive in Appleton, Wisconsin.  Ardon Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1614928, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on November 16, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 519 E Tallgrass Drive in Appleton, Wisconsin.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  a) On July 6, 2023, at the above addressed jobsite, the portable ladder used by employees to access and egress the roof, measuring approximately 9 feet from ground to eve, was not extended to have the side rails extend at least three (3) feet above the roofline.    No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.  Ardon Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1614928, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on November 16, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at  519 E Tallgrass Drive in Appleton, Wisconsin.
