29 CFR  1910.132(d)(1):The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). If such hazards are present, or likely to be present, the employer shall: - Select, and have each affected employee use, the types of PPE that will protect the affected employee from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment; - Communicate selection decisions to each affected employee; and, - Select PPE that properly fits each affected employee.  On or about July 10, 2023, employees were exposed to corrosive chemicals while cleaning inflatable equipment without the use of PPE such as gloves and goggles, creating the potential for chemical burns.  The employer did not conduct an assessment of the workplace to determine if PPE was necessary.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

Employers shall select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands are exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasions; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes.  On or about July 10, 2023, employees were exposed to corrosive chemicals while cleaning inflatable equipment.  The employer did not provide PPE such as gloves, creating the potential for chemical burns.  Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

On or about July 10, 2023, employees were exposed to the corrosive chemical Milgo Plus when cleaning party inflatable equipment.  The employer did not provide suitable facilities for the quick drenching or flushing of the eyes.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
