29 CFR  1910.1025(c)(1): Employee(s) were exposed to lead at concentrations greater than fifty micrograms per cubic meter of air averaged over an eight-hour period:  a) In Range C, on or about July 13, 2023 - A firearms instructor was exposed to lead at an eight-hour time weighted average exposure of 61.4 micrograms per cubic meter of air providing firearms instruction while their students discharge firearms and wiping down shooting bays. This level is 1.22 times the permissible exposure limit of 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air averaged over an eight-hour period.  Sampling was performed by an OSHA compliance officer on July 13, 2023 for 291 minutes and zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled portion of the shift.  b) In Range C, on or about July 19, 2023 - A firearms instructor was exposed to lead at an eight-hour time weighted average exposure of 148 micrograms per cubic meter of air providing firearms instruction while their students discharge firearms. This level is 2.95 times the permissible exposure limit of 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air averaged over an eight-hour period.  Sampling was performed by an OSHA compliance officer on July 19, 2023 for 374 minutes and zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled portion of the shift.
