29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems. On or about July 11,2023, employees engaged in roofing operations were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 6-feet due to inadequate personal fall arrest systems. Castillo Remolding was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1441918, citation number 1 , item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 21, 2019 with respect to a workplace located at 19030 Yandel El Paso, Texas 79902.

On or about July 11, 2023, employees engaged in roofing operations were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 6-feet due to insufficiencies in their fall protection training. Castillo Remolding was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.503(c)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1441918, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 21, 2019, respect to a workplace located at 19030 Yandel El Paso, Texas 79902.
