29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(i): Conductors entering cutout boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not protected from abrasions nor were they effectively closed:  (a) This violation occurred on or about July 13, 2023, an electrical cord entering a receptacle box being used as an extension cord for welders was not protected from abrasions and the opening it entered was not effectively closed exposing employees to an electrical shock hazard in the event of an electrical short due to the abrasion.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws:  (a) On or about July 13, 2023, a Lincoln Electric MIG Welder Power MIG 260 was found with its male cord end fitting no longer providing strain relief and the outer sheathing of the cord pulled approximately 3 inches back exposing employees using it to an electrical shock hazard.
