29 CFR 1926.1424(a)(3)(i): Before an employee goes to a location in the hazard area that is out of view of the operator, the employee (or someone instructed by the employee) must ensure that the operator is informed that he/she is going to that location: On or about July 12, 2023, the employer did not provide training and instruction or procedures to follow while an employee performed work out of the view of the operator to ensure the operator knew the employee was working in the hazard area such as while stowing the outriggers.
