29 CFR  1926.451(c)(2)(iv): Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment were used to support scaffold platforms without being specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use:   At the construction site located at 242 Ciderbluff in Goddard, KS, employee(s) engaged in residential construction framing activities were exposed to fall hazards in that employee(s) attached a custom made scaffold platform to the front end forks which was used to lift employee(s) up to conduct framing work. The platform was not fully railed to protect the employee from falling a distance greater than 6 feet. The custom made scaffold platform was hazardous in that it was not designed by the manufacturer to be used in such a way with the telehandler.

This was most recently documented on July 18, 2023 and July 20, 2023, at 242 Ciderbluff in Goddard, Sedgwick County, Kansas, when employees engaged in residential framing activities were not using any fall protection.
