29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2):Basic Requirement. Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, you must report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA. a. Flores Painters LLC located at 1355 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43201: On or about and preceding July 12, 2023, the employer did not ensure a work-related injury incident resulting in an in-patient hospitalization was reported within 24 hours. At approximately 4:00 pm on May 18, 2023, an employee performing paint preparation work from a ladder fell and was injured on the job which resulted in an in-patient hospitalization. The work related injury incident that resulted in the hospitalization was not reported to OSHA within 24 hours.
