On or about 7/8/2023, the employer did not ensure live electrical parts were accessible to only qualified persons.  A Roanoke Construction, General Contractor, employee and unqualified person was exposed to electric shock when he touched the cover of a junction box.  The unqualified employee had access to the contents of the box and was attempting to open the box to inspect the wires.  An electrical wire in the junction box was damaged and the system was not grounded, causing the cover of the junction box to be electrified.  D&R Building Group was responsible for the safety of the electrical panels/ junction boxes and for ensuring the safety of all electrical circuits.
