29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2): Employees were not protected from excavated or other materials or equipment that could pose a hazard by falling or rolling into excavations, or by a combination of both if necessary: On July 19th, 2023, at the job site located at intersection of 5th and jackson street Scott City KS, 67871, the employer failed to protect employee(s) against cave in hazards in that the CAT 308 mini excavator was less than a two feet from the edge of the trench while two employees were actively working in the trench.
