29 CFR  1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A):Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure:(a)  A.) One Way Inn Inc, alcohol storage room, On or about 7/20/23: a light was connected to a relocatable power tap.  The relocatable power tap was connected to a flexible extension cord.  The flexible extension cord ran across the wall to be plugged in at the fixed receptacle. The use of the flexible extension cord was prohibited in that the flexible extension cord was used in lieu of permanent wiring of the structure.  NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENATION REQUIRED

The relocatable power tap was connected to a flexible extension cord.  The flexible extension cord ran across the wall to be plugged in at the fixed receptacle. The use of the flexible extension cord was prohibited in that the flexible extension cord was running along, and attached to, the building surfaces.  NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENATION REQUIRED

The employer did not ensure that if the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard is guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired.  A.) One Way Inn Inc, Walkway to Kitchen from Dining Room, On or about 7/20/23 and times prior thereto: the missing tiles in the walkway were not replaced or repaired creating a potential tripping hazard.
