29CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: Building 4, Fire Shop: The 10-inch DEWALT (DW 746 Serial # 15469) table saw used for ripping purposes, was energized and was not provided with a blade guard that adjust to the thickness of the materials being cut and remain in contact with it. Employees were exposed to severe laceration related injuries. The USDA Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR 1910.213(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1605749, citation number 01 , item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/26/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 100 Forni Road, Placerville, CA 95667. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards. The USDA, Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1628763, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/21/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 225 W 8th Street, Alturas, CA 96101.
