29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries. Hat Creek Ranger District, Conference Room: One fire extinguisher was not mounted. The fire extinguisher was placed on the floor near the designated exit door. Employees were exposed to tripping hazards. The USDA, Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1469479, citation number 1, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on 05/26/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 24695 Hwy 108, MI WUK VILLAGE, CA 95346. The USDA, Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1478849, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/21/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1711 South Main Street, Yreka, CA 96097
