29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure: a) 266 N. 13th Street, Surf City, NJ - Employees working for the company were exposed to fall hazards in that the employer failed to ensure that a fall protection systems were in place to keep workers from falling through floor openings, through incomplete guardrail systems and down stairways. An employee working for the company suffered severe injuries when he fell through an unprotected floor opening. This condition was noted on or about July 23, 2023. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
