29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3):(3) Walking-working surfaces are maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice. a) Paint Area of Freedom Trailers, LLC: On and at times prior to July 26, 2023, the employer exposed employees to slip, trip, and fall hazards in that the entire floor of the paint booth was covered with a layer of excess Sheboygan water-based paint labeled 73-2319*50RO while employees travel through area to perform work duties. b) Frame shop, fabrications shop, options building and production building of Freedom Trailers, LLC: On and at times prior to July 26, 2023, the employer exposed employees to slip, trip, and fall hazards in that screws, nails, and electrical cords were found on walking-working surfaces while employees performed work duties in areas listed.

29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii):Protection from arc welding rays. Where the work permits, the welder should be enclosed in an individual booth painted with a finish of low reflectivity such as zinc oxide (an important factor for absorbing ultraviolet radiations) and lamp black, or shall be enclosed with noncombustible screens similarly painted. Booths and screens shall permit circulation of air at floor level. Workers or other persons adjacent to the welding areas shall be protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields or shall be required to wear appropriate goggles. a) Frame Shop of Freedom Trailers, LLC: On and at times prior to July 26, 2023, the employer exposed employees to visual hazards in that non-combustible screens were not provided to block the fields of vision of employees from welding arc rays while welders performed welding operations.

29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1):In any workplace where respirators are necessary to protect the health of the employee or whenever respirators are required by the employer, the employer shall establish and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures. The program shall be updated as necessary to reflect those changes in workplace conditions that affect respirator use.
