29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about June 15, 2023, employees were performing framing work activities without the use of fall protection. This exposed employees to fall hazards greater than six (6) feet to the ground below. a. An employee was building a carpenter scaffold on on the joist without fall protection. b. An employee was installing a 2x4 on the joist without fall protection. Tas Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1393992, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 18, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 142 Woodleaf Ln, Edmond, OK 73103.
