29 CFR  1910.1000(a)(2): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of carbon monoxide listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8 hour Time Weighted Average concentration of 50 ppm:  a) In the produce area, on or about July 25, 2023, an employee engaged in operating a reach truck was exposed to 298.2 ppm of carbon monoxide (CO) over a 240 minute time period, based on carboxyhemoglobin level in the employees blood.  This is equivalent to an 8-hour Time weighted average (TWA) of 149.1 ppm, which represent 2.98 times the OSHA-PEL of 50 ppm.  b) In the produce area, on or about July 25, 2023, an employee engaged in selection activities was exposed to 177.0 ppm of carbon monoxide (CO) over a 270 minute time period, based on carboxyhemoglobin level in the employees blood.  This is equivalent to an 8-hour Time weighted average (TWA) of 99.5 ppm, which represent 1.99 times the OSHA-PEL of 50 ppm.  c) In the produce area, on or about July 25, 2023, an employee engaged in selection activities was exposed to 139.6 ppm of carbon monoxide (CO) over a 300 minute time period, based on carboxyhemoglobin level in the employees blood.  This is equivalent to an 8-hour Time weighted average (TWA) of 87.3 ppm, which represent 1.75 times the OSHA-PEL of 50 ppm.  d) In the produce area, on or about July 25, 2023, an employee engaged in selection activities was exposed to 148.3 ppm of carbon monoxide (CO) over a 225 minute time period, based on carboxyhemoglobin level in the employees blood.  This is equivalent to an 8-hour Time weighted average (TWA) of 69.5 ppm, which represent 1.39 times the OSHA-PEL of 50 ppm.
