29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system. On or about July 26, 2023, employees were performing roofing work activities on a commercial building and were not in use of fall protection. This exposed the employees to a fall hazard greater than six (6) feet to the ground below.
