29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about 8/1/2023 at location 1100 W 1st St., Sanford, FL.: subcontractor Alejandre Remodeling Services Corp. employees were exposed to fall hazards , in that they were allowed to work on top of an approximately nine (9) foot tall concrete wall in between truss frames of a new construction roof with inadequate fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) On or about 8/1/2023 at location 1100 W 1st St., Sanford, FL.: Subcontractor Alejandre Remodeling Services Corp. employees were exposed to fall hazards in that they were allowed to access and egress an upper work area approximately nine (9) feet above the lower level using an approximately seven (7) foot aluminum ladder.
