29 CFR 1926.451(h)(2): Employees working below a scaffold were not protected from falling tools, materials or equipment in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs (h)(2)(i)-(v) of this section. (a)Worksite: On or about 9/5/2023, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while installing rebar caps and moving material in an unprotected, non-barricaded open area under and around tubular welded frame scaffold without toeboards, where CMU block, hand tools along with heavy tubs, and buckets of mortar were being staged on overhead levels.
