29 CFR 1910.178(m)(4): Industrial truck drivers were not prohibited from placing extremities outside the running lines of the truck. a) Ford Motor Company, doing business as, Ohio Assembly Plant, located at 799 Abbe Road North, Sheffield, OH: On or about July 26, 2023, the employer failed to ensure an employee operating a sit down Yale electric powered forklift (#115) in F8 of the pedestal line maintained a position inside the running lines of unity while the unit was in an operational condition. An employee operating in this condition outside the frame of the vehicle, was exposed to struck-by and caught -in-between hazards.
