29 CFR  1926.100(a):Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns:  At a residential worksite located at 4005 NE 88th KC MO -- employee working beneath employees on the roof was not wearing head protection. This exposed the employee to head injury from struck-by hazards from above. This was documented on or about August 2, 2023.

29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee was using eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles.  At a residential worksite located at 4005 NE 88th St, KC MO -- employees engaged in roofing duties using pneumatic nail guns and other handheld tools were not wearing eye protection. This exposed the employees to getting debris in their eyes causing injury. This was documented on or about August 2, 2023.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   At a residential worksite located at 4005 NE 88th St, KC MO -- employees engaged in roofing duties were not wearing fall protection, nor were they using any kind of fall protection system. The pitch to the house was 14 and 8 relatively on separate portions of the roof. This exposed employees to fall hazards of 11 plus feet to ground level. This was documented on or about August 2, 2023.
