29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): a) Workplace: 150 Commerce Drive, Hauppauge, NY 11788: An employee was operating a ACG ZRO 200T Automatic Capsule Filling Machine that had no guard on the powder hopper to prevent the employee from contact with moving parts; on or about 8/4/23. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
