29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): a. Machine Shop: On or about August 9, 2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to crushing hazards, in that guarding was not installed on the "Dake" 25-ton hydraulic press used by employees to clean out the extruder joint cone. b. Machine Shop; On or about August 9, 2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to laceration hazards, in that machine guarding was not provided on the "Jet" 20-inch step pulley drill/mill.
