Employees were observed actively installing new roofing material while operating pneumatic nail guns without any form of eye or face protection.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where a portable ladder was used for access to an upper-level landing surface and the ladder's length did not allow the ladder side rails to extend at least 3 feet (0.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: On or about 08-11-2023, at the residential construction jobsite located at 25 Green Meadows Drive, Sikeston, MO., employees were exposed to a fall hazard. Employees were observed using the ladder improperly while climbing on the aluminum ladder rungs. The crew was using an Aluminum Extension Ladder improperly as the ladder side rails did not extend at least three feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface.
