29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about August 15, 2023, employees were performing roofing work activities from the roof of a building without the use of fall protection. This exposed the employees to a fall hazard greater than six (6) feet to the ground below. a. Employees were removing old roofing material from the middle building roof of a nursing home facility. b. Employees were installing new roofing material from the south building roof of a nursing home facility.
